Sometimes we have to activate Windows 10. If you choose not to activate Windows 10 or use an unauthorized copy, you may encounter the following issues:
Limited Functionality: Unactivated Windows 10 may restrict access to certain features and customization options. This can include personalization settings, Windows updates, and the ability to install some apps or software.
Constant Reminders and Watermark: Unactivated copies of Windows 10 often display a persistent watermark on the desktop, reminding you to activate your copy. This can be distracting and affect your overall user experience.
Missing Security Updates: Without activation, you won't receive important security updates and patches from Microsoft. This can leave your computer vulnerable to malware, viruses, and other security threats.
Lack of Microsoft Support: Microsoft generally offers support services to users with genuine and activated copies of Windows. If you're using an unactivated version, you may not be eligible for official support from Microsoft in case you encounter issues or need assistance.
Legality and Compliance: Using an unactivated or pirated copy of Windows 10 is against Microsoft's terms of service and can be illegal. It's important to respect intellectual property rights and use authorized software.
Inability to Customize: Unactivated Windows 10 may limit your ability to customize the operating system according to your preferences. This can include changing wallpapers, themes, colors, and other visual elements.

How to activate Windows 10
To activate Windows 10, you typically need a valid product key. Here are the steps to activate Windows 10:
Click on the Start menu, and then select "Settings" (the gear icon).
In the Settings window, click on "Update & Security."
From the left-hand menu, choose "Activation."
On the Activation page, you will see an option to "Change product key." Click on it.
Enter the valid product key for Windows 10. The product key is usually a 25-character code, typically found on a sticker on your computer or in the documentation that came with your Windows 10 purchase.
After entering the product key, click on the "Next" button, and Windows will attempt to activate using the provided key.
If the product key is valid, Windows 10 will be activated, and you'll see a message confirming the activation.
So these are the steps. I write it in very simple language so you can follow it.
